Titan Intech Limited announced on Tuesday its formation of a strategic technology partnership with Media Information Communication Co., Ltd. based in Seoul. (MIC) to collaboratively develop and adapt LED, SMD, MiP, Mini-LED, and LCD control systems in India.
The firms stated that the partnership seeks to promote import replacement and enhance self-sufficiency in India's display technology industry.
The collaboration involves a staggered investment of approximately ₹135 crore ($1.53 million) across seven years for technology absorption, infrastructure development, and local manufacturing of display modules and control systems.
According to the agreement, MIC will supply Titan Intech with design documents, hardware and firmware sets, along with software licenses for LED control and calibration tools.

This encompasses the mLED Master Suite in Standard, Premium, and 4K editions. The non-exclusive licence lasting seven years (2025–2032) encompasses tools for production and calibration of SMD and Mini-LED systems. Kumarraju Rudraraju, Managing Director of Titan Intech Limited, stated that the collaboration aligns with the initiatives of Make in India, Digital India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat by promoting lower imports and enhanced domestic value creation.
The partnership also encompasses the collective development of LED control systems based on FPGA/SoC, Android control boards for interactive LCDs, and IP-centric passenger information systems for airlines, railways, and metro systems. Titan Intech will obtain exclusive rights for manufacturing and commercialization in India, along with non-exclusive global rights for research and development.
