The JK Super Cement brand was introduced in Kashmir by Saifco Cements Pvt. Ltd. a division of JK Cement Ltd. This action signifies a strategic expansion in the cement market in Northern India and the operational rollout of JK Cement's recent acquisition.
A grey product, recognized for strength and durability, is now manufactured and distributed across major Kashmiri districts: Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Ganderbal, Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Kupwara, Bandipora and Pulwama. The local manufacturing base is expected to ease availability for both infrastructure projects and consumer demand in this region.
According to the leadership of JK Cement, the entry into Kashmir is aligned with their long-term growth strategy in northern markets. It is intended that local production will meet rising infrastructure and housing needs efficiently. It is emphasised by the company that this expansion is not just about cement, but also about fostering local skills, generating employment, and strengthening Kashmir’s economy. Our distribution strategy will be implemented through a network of channel partner, direct contact with builders and public-sector partners and an on-the-ground team providing technical assistance, quality assurance, and contractor training.

The launch is seen by Saifco Cements as a statement of commitment to self-reliant growth in Jammu & Kashmir. This move is positioned by JK Cement within broader national goals such as ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, with a focus being reinforced on infrastructure-led growth across India. Earlier expansions in Bihar and other states have similarly extended the company’s footprint; Kashmir is further entered by JK Cement, cementing the company's role in the country’s construction and manufacturing ecosystem.
