The international exhibitions Central Asia Coatings Show and United Chemical Show were successfully held in Astana, coming together in 2026 as a unified professional platform for the chemical and coatings industries.
The combined format allowed exhibitors and visitors to gain a comprehensive view of the market — from basic chemicals and raw materials to finished paints and coatings, equipment, and production technologies.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Azamat S. Panbayev, Chairman of the Industrial Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Darkhan Sagynbekov, Deputy Director of the Manufacturing Industry Department, as well as presidents and representatives of leading industry associations.
Within the joint exhibition space, more than 170 companies from 15 countries presented their solutions, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, China, Russia, Belarus, the UAE, the Czech Republic, Germany, and others.
The combined format enabled exhibitors to showcase their products to two closely related professional audiences, while visitors were able to explore the entire technological and production chain of the industry during a single visit.
This unified exhibition format became a major advantage for business: raw material and chemical producers engaged directly with manufacturers of paints and coatings; equipment suppliers connected with customers across multiple industrial segments; and distributors and end users gained access to an expanded pool of suppliers and ready-to-use solutions.
Over the three days, the exhibitions welcomed more than 7,000 professional visitors, including representatives of industrial enterprises, technologists, procurement specialists, distributors, and business owners. During the event, exhibitors noted active B2B negotiations, the launch of new partnerships, and strong practical interest in joint projects.
The exhibitions were accompanied by an intensive two-day business programme featuring over 30 speakers, as well as more than 10 practical master classes. Panel sessions were organized in cooperation with the Union of Chemists of Kazakhstan and the KazChemistry Association, with participation from specialists of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event received extensive media coverage from leading business media outlets, including Atameken Business and Abai TV.
The projects do not conclude their work but continue to develop industry cooperation and international dialogue. The next meeting of the professional community will take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 16 to 18 September 2026, followed by the return of the exhibitions to Astana from 27 to 29 January 2027.
