
Semiconductor and electronic component manufacturer AEIM announced on Monday its intention to invest Rs 10,000 crore in its facility located in Raipur by the year 2030.
In a regulatory filing, the company announced it has been granted 11.28 acres of prime industrial land by Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRDA) located in Kosala Industrial Park, Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to establish its semiconductor materials manufacturing plant.
"The building of the cutting-edge facility will begin right away." The filing stated, "The firm is employing advanced post-tensioned slab technology to accelerate construction, aiming to finish the first phase by May 2026."
Chennai-based Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials Limited (AEIML) stated that the investment in Chhattisgarh is backed by the state's industrial policy, which allows for a capital subsidy of up to 40 percent.

"This state-of-the-art facility will establish Raipur as a recognised semiconductor hub in India. With our planned investment of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030, we expect to generate over 4,000 direct high-skilled jobs, nurture engineering talent, and drive substantial economic growth in the region," AEIM Executive Director Vishaal Nandam said.
The statement indicated that the new facility will concentrate on advanced semiconductor materials, such as sapphire ingots and wafers, along with next-generation electronic substrates
"Commercial production at the Raipur facility is slated to begin in Q3 2026, positioning AEIM as one of central India's most ambitious high-tech manufacturing initiatives," it added.
