TN signs 158 agreements worth ₹43,844 cr, finalizes deal for manufacturing unit of 2-seater trainer aircraft.
Coimbatore, A total of 158 MoUs with a cumulative commitment of ₹43,844 crore, promising 1,00,709 jobs, were executed in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin at the TN Rising investment conclave held here on Tuesday. Sakthi Aircraft Industry will set up an advanced manufacturing facility for 2-seater trainer aircraft in Tirupur district, investing ₹500 crore and generating 1,200 high-skilled jobs.
This will be the first-ever trainer aircraft production facility in the state. "During the TN Rising – Coimbatore Conclave, Sakthi Aircraft signed an MoU with Chief Minister M K Stalin present, marking a significant milestone for the future of aviation in India," the government stated.

The government stated that this project would position Tamil Nadu as a leader in India’s aerospace transformation, driven by domestic innovation fueling national aspirations. Cingularity Aerospace plans to set up a state-of-the-art drone production plant in Krishnagiri district with an investment of ₹50 crore. It would guarantee 500 skilled positions, and the action would bolster Tamil Nadu’s swiftly expanding aerospace, UAV, and defense production landscape.
MindOx Techno has signed an agreement with the state government to invest ₹398 crore in a semiconductor equipment manufacturing plant in Coimbatore district, resulting in the creation of 460 jobs through this initiative.
Caliber Interconnects, a leader in deep-tech engineering, will invest ₹3,000 crore and generate 4,000 skilled jobs by establishing a significant semiconductor and power electronics manufacturing facility in Coimbatore district, the government stated in a release.
