Larsen & Toubro's Transportation Infrastructure business has bagged a large contract for the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road - Phase 2, with a value in the range of Rs 1,000 crores to Rs 2,500 crores.
As part of the project, a 22.3 km, 3+3 lane access control radial road will be constructed in the Ranga Reddy district in the state of Telangana.
As a result, L&T is going to construct a 3.6 km-long viaduct, including minor bridges, underpasses, culverts, and service roads on both sides, along with huge retention structures, stormwater drain, footpaths, cycling tracks, and land-scaping, ensuring a fully developed road infrastructure.
This radial road will provide the first of several proposed connections to link the Outer Ring Road at Hyderabad to the proposed Regional Ring Road, which will provide easy access to rationalized areas like IT Parks, Electronic City, Young India Skills University, and Bharat Future City.
