CleanMax has recorded its biggest quarterly expansion by adding 530 MW of renewable energy capacity in the first quarter of FY27.
The milestone has taken the company's operational portfolio to 4.2 GW, making it one of the fastest-growing players in India's clean energy sector.
The record addition highlights CleanMax's strong focus on expanding its renewable energy footprint while meeting the rising demand for green power from commercial and industrial customers.
The latest capacity addition marks the company's best-ever quarterly performance. With the new projects now operational, CleanMax has strengthened its position in the commercial and industrial renewable energy market and expanded its presence across multiple states.
Out of the total 530 MW commissioned during the quarter:
The power sales portfolio included nearly 350 MWp of solar projects and 53 MW of wind projects. These assets are owned or co-owned by CleanMax and supply electricity through long-term power purchase agreements and Energy-as-a-Service models.
The newly commissioned projects are spread across 11 locations in five Indian states. Gujarat accounted for around 170 MW of the new capacity, followed by Karnataka with nearly 160 MW and Maharashtra with about 110 MW. Additional projects were commissioned in Haryana and Chhattisgarh.
The strong quarterly performance was also supported by new customer additions from several leading businesses.
During the quarter, CleanMax added:
These companies have partnered with CleanMax to source renewable power, reflecting the growing demand among businesses to reduce carbon emissions and meet sustainability goals.
The increasing adoption of renewable power by technology companies, data centers and manufacturers is creating new opportunities for independent renewable energy developers across India.
