Dell is going to be more focused on servers, storage, and AI solutions in India and is planning to be recognized not only as a PC vendor but also as an enterprise technology partner that will be a leader in the industry.
They are utilizing AI-optimized servers that are equipped with Nvidia chips and are capable of handling very complicated computational tasks as global revenue from these servers is estimated to rise to $20 billion this fiscal from zero just two years ago.
'We want to speed up the customer innovation cycles through our offerings that will include not just products but end-to-end solutions as well as services that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and open up the streams of revenue,' said Manish Gupta, President and Managing Director of Dell India, in his first media interaction since his promotion earlier this year.
Dell is unique from the others in many ways like Dell's full-stack offerings covering edge, core, and cloud and its prominence in AI, multi-cloud, edge computing, and data storage. AI Factory by the company combines servers, storage, networking, and software to transform structured and non-structured data into productive use-cases.

Among the major customers is Zoho, which implements Dell AI Factory to give energy to proprietary large language models and enterprise AI applications. Gupta said that Indian companies are leading the way when it comes to implementing AI in the banking and finance, healthcare, and retail sectors that also include medium-sized businesses.
The company's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) made a revenue of $27 billion for six months ending August 1, storage, software, and server constituting the group, witnessed a year-on-year increase of 30%, compared to the growth rate of the laptop and desktop segments, which was relatively low.
