Atlanta Electricals has secured a ₹190 crore transformer supply deal from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RVPN), marking a strong boost to its order book and reinforcing its role in India’s growing power transmission sector. The company will supply 53 units of 50 MVA, 132/33 kV power transformers along with advanced fire protection systems, under a contract that reflects increasing investment in grid infrastructure.
The order will be executed over a two-year period, with scope for extension depending on project requirements. It includes not just the supply of transformers, but also integrated fire prevention systems, specifically Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Systems (NIFPES), ensuring higher safety standards and reliability in power transmission networks.
This win highlights Atlanta Electricals’ capability to handle large-scale utility projects and meet strict technical requirements set by state transmission companies. It also strengthens the company’s relationship with RVPN and positions it well for future opportunities in the sector.

India’s power infrastructure is currently undergoing significant expansion, driven by rising electricity demand and the integration of renewable energy into the grid. In this context, such contracts play a key role in strengthening electricity distribution and improving overall system efficiency.
From a business perspective, the deal is expected to improve revenue visibility and support better utilisation of manufacturing capacity. It also signals steady demand for high-quality energy infrastructure equipment, particularly from government-backed utilities.
Commenting on the development, Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Atlanta Electricals, said, “The order from RVPN reflects the continued trust of our long-standing customer and underscores our execution capabilities. It highlights the breadth of our product portfolio across the transmission segment and shall improve capacity utilisation across our manufacturing facilities, further strengthening our engagement with state utilities and supporting India’s grid modernisation,”
With continued investments in transmission networks across the country, Atlanta Electricals is likely to benefit from a steady pipeline of projects, strengthening its position in the power equipment industry and contributing to India’s broader infrastructure development goals.
