Maieutic Semiconductor, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup, has raised USD 4.15 million in a seed round led by Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners.
The startup is aiming to almost entirely transform analogue chip design with Generative AI-powered co-pilot tools that will provide the potential for dramatically accelerated design cycles and reduction in manual efforts.
Founded in March 2025, by Gireesh Rajendran, Ashish Lachhwani, Rakesh Kumar, and Krishna Sankar, Maieutic is leveraging decades of experience in analogue semiconductor systems, AI innovation, and commercialization of products. The founding team of Maieutic has more than 70 patents collectively and has made contributions to the shipping of over a billion units worldwide.
"We are thrilled to have raised this round of funding and are incredibly grateful to have visionary partners like Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners on board, who not only believe in our mission but are actively supporting us as we build for the future of chip design," Rajendran said.
The company's flagship technology is a GenAI platform for analogue IC design that utilizes domain-specific data to increase accuracy. It gives guidance in intelligent decision-making, provides bug-finding capabilities, and allows designers to go from months of design to days, enabling them to tackle one of the biggest manual bottlenecks and most labour intensive parts of the semiconductor industry.
