Ather Energy made a statement that prices will go up by about Rs 3,000 for all of its models starting January 1. They say this is because it costs more to get raw materials and because of changes in foreign exchange rates.
The company explained that the cost of materials, electronics, and things they buy from other countries has been going up lately, so they have to raise prices for all Ather models.
Currently, Ather sells the 450 series, which are fast electric scooters, and the Rizta, which is made for families. The prices in New Delhi are between Rs 1,14,546 and Rs 1,82,946, depending on which model you pick.
The prices are going up soon. Ather is still running its Electric December deal, where people can save up to Rs 20,000 in some cities. They're doing this to get more people to buy electric scooters before the end of the year.
This price change comes as more investors are interested in Ather Energy after its stock market launch in May. The company's stock has done well, going up 118% since it started, which shows that people are optimistic about the company's future and how it's growing in the Indian electric scooter market.
Ather Energy is still trying to keep costs down while investing in new products, charging stations, and making customers happy, as the electric vehicle market becomes more competitive.
