Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. (RCPL), the FMCG unit of Reliance Industries, has partnered with Ceylon Cold Stores, the producer of the Elephant House brand, to launch the first-ever Campa Beverages in Sri Lanka. This development continues to build on the two business collaborations, with the first being Elephant House Beverages entered the Indian market in February 2024.
The launch signifies RCPL's continuing global growth in beverages, which aims to deliver Sri Lankans more choices and innovation through quality beverages at an affordable price. Campa will leverage Ceylon Cold Stores' extensive distribution network and operational scale within the John Keells Group.
Campa, which RCPL bought in 2022 and resurfaced in India in 2023, is a legacy brand that was famously consumed in the 1970s and 1980s. The Sri Lankan portfolio will include Campa Cola, Lemon and Orange sodas, and energy drinks, including Campa NRG Gold Boost, and Berry Kik in 250 ml bottles are priced at Rs. 100.

“We see long-term growth potential in Sri Lanka and want to transform the beverage experience here,” stated Ketan Mody, Executive Director, RCPL. “Campa is not just a drink—it’s the revival of a legacy and a celebration of youth.”
Daminda Gamlath, President, John Keells Consumer Foods Sector, added, “This partnership helps to expand our beverage portfolio and strengthen our position in the local market. We know our extensive network will help make Campa a household name in Sri Lanka.”
Both companies view the launch as a first step toward growing the beverage segment through honest pricing, quality, and building strong brands.
