3M India has set up an Electronics Customer Experience Center in Bangalore to deepen its 3M India R&D facility commitment to innovation and to support the India's rapidly growing electronics ecosystem.
Steven Vander Louw, President, 3M Display & Electronics Product Platforms, 3M Company, USA, inaugurated the centre along with 3M India senior leaders.
Situated at 3M India’s R&D facility in Electronics City, the newly established center is a union place for customers and partners to dive into, try out, and co-develop sophisticated electronics solutions.
The center combines 3M’s global materials science expertise with India’s expanding electronics manufacturing industry and gives an accessible platform for innovation, speedy problem-solving, and eco-friendly product development.
“In today’s world, India is positioning itself as an attractive and viable destination for electronics manufacturing on a global scale. 3M is committed to playing its part in this expansion,” Vander Louw said.

“The newly-launched customer interaction center conveys the underpinning technologies directly to the end-users and co-creation dialogues enhance the performance and reliability of final consumer products.”

The center is 3M’s one-stop-shop for the company’s broad-spectrum electronics portfolio featuring the areas of conductivity, thermal management, semiconductor, and bonding materials. Equipped with continual investments in infrastructure and R&D, 3M India plans to expedite the country's path of making origin-led innovation manufacturing.
