With the unveiling of the GEPT 20, India’s first 48V Li-ion battery-operated electric hand pallet truck, Godrej Enterprises Group has initiated a significant breakthrough in warehouse innovation.
The GEPT 20 is intended to provide increased mobility and operational efficiency throughout warehouses at a time when India’s logistics and warehousing industries are growing rapidly given rising order volumes and the need for faster and safer modes of handling.
The GEPT 20 is able to deliver up to three times the productivity of conventional hand pallet trucks, giving rapid lift capabilities, extended run-time, and precise control. While tough in operations, it can lift up to two tonnes in weight and run for just over four hours on one charge. In turtle speed mode, it has the ability to move smoothly and safely in narrow or crowded workspaces; it is perfect for warehouses, retail stores, and industrial facilities.

Using advanced lithium-ion technology, the GEPT 20 offers faster charging, no maintenance, and a longer life cycle, which is a significant benefit over traditional pallet trucks. With this innovation, Godrej continues to promote sustainable growth and reduce the carbon emissions in logistics.
For since 1897, the Godrej Enterprises Group has been an integral part of India's industrial growth—from the initial locks and typewriters to the latest in material handling innovations—and continues that tradition of innovation as it powers India's future in modern manufacturing and logistics.
