The Evolution

In the beginning, it was a joint venture between SNF Floerger and IEI that formed a company in India in 1989 named Polyelectrolyte (India). With the establishment of a factory to produce emulsions in 1991, they went further to change the company name to SNF-Ion Exchange in 1999. Later in December 2001, SNF Floerger acquired complete ownership of the company and became SNF (India). They set-up a new manufacturing plant in Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City in Padawada, Vishakhapatnam, spread over a land of 250 acres and initiated their production of polyacrylamide emulsions and liquids in 2010. The plant operates at annual production capacity of 1.6 lac MT manufacturing of acrylamide, anionic and cationic polyacrylamide.
