The Jaipuria’s association with neem dates back to 1976, when they promoted Agro Extracts Ltd, focusing on processing of Neem seeds and other Minor oil seeds to manufacture conventional extracted oils and de-oiled cakes.
Agro Extracts gradually emerged as the country’s largest collector and processor of neem seeds. Subsequent to the development of technology to extract Azadirachtin, the active ingredient from neem seed, it was a natural progression to move into the manufacturing and marketing of value-added products from Neem such as Azadirachtin and its formulations for use in crop protection.
