The coatings are used by premium OEMs such as Bosch, Hyundai, Toyota, DANA and Siemens to meet high-quality, durable finishes that maintain all the global standards. Future-Ready Solutions for Corrosion Challenges
GSC Coatings India was born out of Hemant’s experience in the oil and gas industry and his fascination with the subject of corrosion prevention. While visiting China, Hemant was inspired by his mentor, Dr David Kepson, to start green technologies, including the CED coating, a more environmentally friendly substitute to conventional plating, beginning with one line in Pune.
Hemant was awarded PhD under Dr David's guidance. The initial two years were dedicated to market education with the first client secured in 2011. What followed was rapid growth: plant additions in two-year intervals to a total of five production lines serving global OEMs.
Going forward, capacity expansion is central to the growth strategy of GSC Coatings India. With the facility now at full capacity, the firm is about to commission a sixth line of CED coating this year. This growth will enhance its capacity to receive more orders from clients around the world on time in a market niche with premium tastes.
