Crimpwell Services’ story begins with founder Tarun Mehta, whose passion for engineering was first begun by modifying his sports bike Yezdi CL2 for racing and winning the competition. This skill eventually led to the development of a Crimping tool that successfully addressed cable failure issues for the Railways. Tarun’s approach to address complex problems instead of pursuing profits built a reputation for the company for quality in the railway industry.
The company entered a new phase in 2011 when the next generation joined the business after doing engineering from Manipal, post graduation from IIMC, and gaining engineering experience abroad.
