The initiative is expected to improve employability while raising productivity across construction projects. With infrastructure development accelerating nationwide, the need for trained manpower has become critical. This skill development in the construction sector effort aims to address that challenge directly by creating a steady pipeline of job-ready workers.
Officials highlighted that the collaboration will also promote the adoption of advanced construction techniques, helping improve efficiency and reduce errors on-site. By focusing on practical training and real-world application, the program is designed to make workers industry-ready from day one.
The move aligns with broader industry goals to enhance construction quality and support long-term infrastructure growth. As one of India’s largest cement producers, UltraTech’s involvement ensures scale, while NCB’s research-driven approach adds depth to the training framework.
This partnership signals a step toward a more skilled and capable construction workforce, which is essential for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and with consistent quality.
