Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt Ltd factory in Bhavnagar's district of Gujarat, which is located on the Bhavnagar–Rajkot Road, along with Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Nimuben Bambhaniya, which is now beginning to play a major role within the container manufacturing and production landscape in India.
Vaishnaw viewed the manufacturing process and the technology used to manufacture shipping containers and made operational suggestions and comments. He expressed the government to fully support the company in addressing the growing global demand for shipping containers. Vaishnaw also took to X following the site visit to post pictures of the 'Made in India' containers and pointed towards the growing Industrial ecosystem in Indian Industry and Bhavnagar's role in it.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's recent visit represents the beginnings of Bhavnagar district and the growing presence of Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt Ltd as a container manufacturers. The operation is producing approximately 15 containers daily depending on orders but is capable of increasing production to 100 containers per day with improvements to the facilities now made.

Vaishnaw had with him Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for State Nimuben Bambhaniya, District Collector Dr. Manish Kumar Bansal, District Development Officer Hanul Chaudhary, and company representative Hasmukhbhai Patel, during a visit that illustrated government support for Bhavnagar's industrial growth and its role in addressing global demand for containers.
