Ingersoll Rand (India) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand Inc. (NYSE: IR)—a global leader in mission-critical flow creation, life sciences, and industrial solutions—has announced the inauguration of its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat.
This latest addition marks a major milestone in the company’s expansion in India, reinforcing its focus on innovation, sustainability, and regional development. In its initial phase, the facility will have an annual production capacity exceeding 24,000 units, with additional investments planned for future expansion. Representing one of Ingersoll Rand’s largest investments in the country, the Sanand plant is set to commence production in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025.

With the existing plant already running at full capacity of 60,000 units per year, the new facility will significantly boost manufacturing capabilities. It also highlights Ingersoll Rand’s strong support for India’s “Make in India” initiative, aligning with the company’s global export goals and unwavering commitment to precision, reliability, and energy efficiency, in line with its mission of Making Life Better.
