Infineon, Kaynes Partner to Advance Indian Semiconductors

Infineon, a world leader in semiconductor solutions, and Kaynes Semicon Private Limited, a trailblazing Indian semiconductor manufacturer, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to investigate potential strategic partnerships in India's rapidly expanding semiconductor market.

Today marks a new milestone for our collaboration with the launch of the first Kaynes Semicon MEMs Microphone, utilizing Infineon’s well-known and reliable, market proven bare die, with breakthrough domestic semiconductor module manufacturing capacity.

This “Made in India” MEMs Microphone will target the first TWS earbuds in India, putting Kaynes Semicon on the pre-emptive map for the next generation of wearables.

Furthermore, Kaynes Semicon will package Infineon's high-performance power solution bare die wafers into discrete and module semiconductor solutions specifically designed for Indian consumers.

India's domestic reach and global supply chain position will be strengthened by the combination of Infineon's leadership and Kaynes Semicon's innovative semiconductor packaging skills.
