Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals revealed that it has received a large order worth ₹51.59 crore for the supply of solar rooftop systems to homes located across Telangana.
The order scope includes supply of inverters, AC distribution boxes (ACDB), DC distribution boxes (DCDB) and solar modules, marking a further strong push by the company to grow in renewable energy options.
With this order Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals further affirms its position in the fast-growing solar energy landscape of India, consistent with the country's activities to deliver sustainable and decentralize generation of electricity.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has a 75 year brand legacy operating as an independent company under professional management with two primary business segments - lighting and electrical consumer durables. Crompton markets its products under the Crompton brand in India and other select export markets.
Although this new business momentum, the company also reported a 19.4% decrease consolidated net profit to ₹122.29 crore for Q1 FY26, with revenue from operations shrunk 6.5% to ₹1,998.34 crore versus the previous year. On Thursday the shares of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals fell 0.52%, closing at ₹285.80 on the BSE.
