In a key step to accelerate clean energy adoption in India, CleanMax, supported by Brookfield, has partnered with Toyota Tsusho India Pvt. Ltd. (TTIPL) to offer 300 MW of renewable energy capacity by March 2028.
This partnership aims to support a network of Japanese corporates operating in India, including the Toyota Group, with hybrid Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs) that provide long term access to renewable energy.
This collaboration will provide a series of clean energy offerings, including rooftop solar, ground mounted solar and wind farms, hybrid wind – solar systems, and optional carbon credits/warrants that assist companies in their decarbonisation objectives. The partnership showcases a mutual commitment to driving sustainable industrial development and supporting India's ambitious green targets.

CleanMax has broad execution experience with a portfolio of over 2.2 GW in India, UAE, and Thailand, along with extensive experience in this area having more than 500 corporate clients. Toyota Tsusho India, on the other hand, and its strong relationship with Japanese companies in India, will bring additional strategic value in enabling offering options for existing corporate networks.
This collaboration is a significant advancement in the provision of reliable, scalable clean energy for industrial clients, and strengthens India's growing role in the corporate-led renewable energy transition.
