Wipro Hydraulics has announced it will acquire a 100 percent stake in Indeco Ind SpA, marking a major step in its global expansion strategy.
The deal, confirmed today, signals Wipro Hydraulics’ entry into the hydraulic attachments market, strengthening its position beyond its core cylinder business.
Indeco, headquartered in Italy, is known for manufacturing hydraulic hammers, demolition tools, and attachments used across construction and mining industries. With operations spanning multiple facilities in Italy and the United States, the company brings an established international manufacturing and distribution network into Wipro Hydraulics’ fold.

The acquisition allows Wipro Hydraulics to expand its product portfolio and move closer to offering end-to-end hydraulic solutions. By combining its engineering capabilities with Indeco’s specialized expertise, the company aims to serve a wider customer base across sectors like infrastructure, demolition, and recycling. This Wipro Hydraulics acquisition is expected to accelerate its access to global markets without the need for building new operations from scratch.
As part of the agreement, Indeco will continue to operate under its existing leadership. The Vitulano family, which has been closely associated with the business, will remain involved in managing the company, ensuring continuity in operations and customer relationships.
This move reflects a broader shift in strategy, where Wipro Hydraulics is focusing on scaling its presence internationally while expanding into adjacent high-value segments. The Wipro Hydraulics acquisition of Indeco not only enhances its technological capabilities but also positions it as a stronger competitor in the global hydraulic equipment industry.
