Titagarh Rail Systems has secured a Rs 226.35 crore wagon order from JSW Port Logistics, strengthening its position in India’s growing freight segment.
The company confirmed it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the supply of 720 railway wagons, marking another key win in the railway wagon manufacturing space.
The Titagarh Rail Systems wagon order will be executed over a period of around six months, starting after the final contract and purchase order are completed. The project is entirely domestic and aligns with the rising demand for freight logistics infrastructure in India.
This order adds to the company’s existing pipeline and improves near-term revenue visibility. It also highlights the increasing role of private players like JSW Port Logistics in expanding rail-based cargo movement, a trend that is gaining pace across the country. With industries focusing on cost-efficient and scalable transport, demand for rail freight wagons continues to grow.
Titagarh Rail Systems has been actively expanding its capabilities across segments, including wagons, passenger coaches, and metro rail solutions. The latest deal reflects its ability to deliver large-scale manufacturing projects within tight timelines, reinforcing confidence among logistics and infrastructure companies.
