Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated Raphe mPhibr Drone Manufacturing Unit as well as a Defence Equipment and Engine Test Facility at Sector-81, Noida. This new endeavor is a major step towards India’s expanding defence and aerospace manufacturing ecosystem.
While addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister stated that the building of a drone facility, aircraft engine, and aerospace testing with high standards demonstrates India’s resolve to rejuvenate its defence sector in the face of changing global scenarios. He stressed the point that absolute peace is achieved only when "Shastra (knowledge) and Sastra (weapons) go hand in hand", conveying that it is through power that the country gets the world’s stage recognition.
Yogi traced the defence manufacturing of Uttar Pradesh by narrating that there are nine ordnance factories in the state which are functioning presently and 12,500 acres have been allotted for the Defence Corridor that is distributed in Agra, Aligarh, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, and Kanpur. He further added that BrahMos missile unit in Lucknow has already demonstrated its performance during Operation Sindoor.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called the facility that got installed recently the epitome of India’s quest for scientific progress and innovation in the defence sector. He further said that the project is not only augmenting the capability of making the product indigenously but is also aligned with the self-reliance vision in defence manufacturing.
The leaders extended their good wishes to Raphe mPhibr for the accomplishment and assured that they would continue promoting India’s defence preparedness through advanced technology and the creation of domestic capabilities.
