KEC International has also fortified the order book with new contracts totaling Rs. 1,050 crore, which is a massive reinforcement of its main business, which is infrastructure. The new orders accentuate the diversified EPC and the expanding experience of the company in the fields of renewable power, civil construction, transmission and distribution, and cables and conductors.
A significant milestone by the renewables segment has been a breakthrough order of a 100 + MW wind power project in Southern India. The agreement includes the Balance of Plant (BoP) pack and was bid by a well-known private developer, which strengthens KEC International in its growing presence in the sphere of wind energy and clean power infrastructure.

The company has also won a contract in the Buildings and Factories (B&F) sector with an existing customer in the civil business. The project will include the execution of a downstream facility in Western India and a major steel company, which entails that KEC has a good reputation in terms of industrial and large-scale civil construction projects.
The Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business has been receiving momentum in the international market and new orders have been received in the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas. This indicates the long-term need for power transmission infrastructure and grid expansion in the area.
In the meantime, the Cables and Conductors division has been able to get orders to supply different varieties of cables and conductors in India and the foreign markets to aid in the expansion of power, infrastructure and industry.
These awards also increase the visibility of the revenue of KEC International and make the company poised to grow steadily in the global infrastructure EPC sector.
