Cyient Ltd and CNH’s Construction Equipment division have deepened their collaboration to speed up the rollout of advanced perception and automation technologies across a wider range of construction vehicles.
The renewed push marks a fresh step forward for both companies as they position themselves for the next era of smart and autonomous machinery.
Their partnership, already active for more than two years, has delivered an early highlight with the creation of CNH’s Advanced Perception System for wheel loaders. First revealed at the Bauma exhibition, the system showcases how computer vision and intelligent controls can support safer and more efficient machine operations. It also serves as a key building block in CNH’s long-term roadmap toward fully autonomous equipment.

Humayun Chishti, President – Construction at CNH, said, “Cyient has played a critical role in helping us bring our Advanced Perception System to life and will remain an essential partner as we continue to expand autonomy across our construction equipment portfolio,” he said.
The expanded effort will now focus on scaling autonomous capabilities across multiple vehicle categories. The aim is to boost on-site safety, streamline workflows, and raise overall productivity. CNH will continue to steer the development with its deep product knowledge, while Cyient Ltd will apply its engineering expertise to co-create systems that fit into CNH’s broader digital transformation strategy.
Sukamal Banerjee, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cyient, said the companies were committed to building the future of autonomous construction solutions together. "Our work on the Advanced Perception System is just the beginning. We're excited to co-create solutions that define the future of autonomous construction equipment," he said.
