Airfloa and BBBS Form JV to Drive Next-Gen Defence Manufacturing

Airfloa Rail Technology Limited today announced a new Joint Venture with Big Bang Boom Solutions Private Limited (BBBS), marking a major push into India’s fast-rising defense manufacturing sector.

The move pairs Airfloa’s strong engineering and production base with BBBS’s deep-tech capabilities in Electronic Warfare, AI-driven autonomous systems, and advanced materials.

The JV will operate with Airfloa holding 51% and BBBS 49%, creating an exclusive platform to manufacture BBBS’s current and upcoming defense-tech programs within India. This includes Directed Energy Weapons, high-precision components, defense-grade system integration, and products built on advanced material science. By combining strengths, the partnership aims to speed up industrialisation, scale production, and tap into strong domestic and global demand.

The collaboration aligns with India’s broader shift toward self-reliant defense production. With the defense manufacturing market expanding at a rapid pace, the JV positions Airfloa to capture new opportunities while reinforcing BBBS’s technology pathway to scaled deployment. The partnership also widens export potential across UAVs, Electronic Warfare, and next-generation defense systems.
