Adani Acquires Flight Simulation Leader to Boost Aviation Services

Adani Group has taken a 72.8 percent share in Flight Simulation Solutions for Rs 820. In a filing to the exchange, Adani Enterprises revealed that the transaction was executed by Adani Defence Systems and Technologies along with Horizon Aero Solutions, which is a subsidiary of the company.

Adani Enterprises announced that Flight Simulation Solutions is the largest independent company in India for flight training and simulation, utilizing 11 state-of-the-art full-flight simulators and 17 training aircraft. The firm provides pilot training, commercial pilot certifications, type ratings, refresher training, and specialized skill courses.

Additionally, the firm holds certifications from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and operates simulation centres in Gurugram and Hyderabad. It also runs one of the largest flying schools in India located in Bhiwani and Narnaul, Haryana.

Adani Group’s defence branch is considering India’s civil and military pilot training environment as a growing business prospect, as leading Indian airlines gear up to increase their fleet and operations both domestically and internationally.
