ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited has taken another solid step forward by commissioning an additional 12 MW of wind power at its 100 MW project in Gujarat.
The proposed project will be located in Village Titoda, Taluka Sayla, District Surendranagar, which has good and stable wind resources.
The start of the new capacity was duly observed and evidenced by the representatives of the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL). The official commissioning certificate is likely to arrive soon, which proves that the project is technically and regulatory and grid-integrated according to the requirements offered by the authorities.

This latest addition has seen the full commissioned capacity of a planned 100 MW wind power project to be commissioned by the wholly owned subsidiary of the ACME Solar holdings limited, the ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited. The remaining capacity will be in various stages of implementation and commissioned in phases, as per the approved project schedule and regulatory approvals.
The wind power project of ACME Eco Clean Energy in Gujarat is strategically planned to exploit one of the greatest wind potential areas of India. The project will yield a large quantity of clean energy annually once fully operating, which will contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and contribute to the energy security of the region.
In addition to clean power production, the project also contributes to economic growth in the area by providing jobs during construction and operations and also by helping in the infrastructure development in and near the Titoda area.
