TVS Srichakra Clears INR 210 Crore Investment for Rudrapur Unit

TVS Srichakra Limited has announced through a release today that its Board of Directors has approved a INR 210 crore capital investment to increase manufacturing capacity at Unit-2 of its facility located in Rudrapur.

This investment will be directed towards expanding the capacity through infrastructure upgrades at the existing facility and will further enhance TVS Srichakra’s capability to increase capacity in order to meet the growing demands of the domestic and export markets.

The current expansion initiative is a part of TVS Srichakra’s long-term strategy for growth with a strong emphasis on operational excellence, product innovation and supply reliability. The Rudrapur facility represents an important part of the company’s overall manufacturing footprint serving as a primary source of production for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and off-road tyres. The increased capacity will help to support TVS Srichakra’s continued growth and to enhance the company’s ability to create competitive advantage by being able to respond quickly to changes in the marketplace.

The approved funding will be utilised to install state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery and equipment; implement process automation enhancements; upgrade existing utility systems; and to construct additional support infrastructure. These improvements will further support increased levels of productivity, consistency of quality, worker safety and environmental performance at the facility.

TVS Srichakra has continued to invest steadily as demand in the automotive and mobility sectors remains strong.
