Deepak Nitrite has opened its state-of-the-art Deepak Research and Development Centre (DRDC) located in Savli, Vadodara, which is a major milestone in the innovation quest of the company. The facility, which is spread over a 5-acre campus, is being envisaged as an international center to propel research, product development and technological advancements in the chemical industry.
It has state-of-the-art laboratories, extensive analytical facilities, an engineering unit, a piloting unit, and a special polymer unit to provide total support for the research and development process. A special unit on pressure reactor setups is also available in the centre and allows controlled and safe chemical operations, followed by the highest level of safety standards.
The new facility is a continuation of the preceding R&D centre of Deepak Nitrite, which serves to speed up the innovative activities of the firm and cement its place as the leader in scientific research.

The DRDC will strive to be sustainable by using renewable solar energy to run most of its operations, which is an indication of the environmental responsibility of Deepak Nitrite in the innovation process.
