Danfoss PowerNEU JV Expands Local Engineering in Jamshedpur

Danfoss PowerNEU has officially taken shape as Danfoss India partnered with engineering firm PowerNEU to form Danfoss PowerNEU Private Limited, a joint venture focused on serving India’s metals and heavy industries with local engineering and execution strength.

The partnership was marked today with a groundbreaking ceremony for a new manufacturing facility and office in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

The launch of Danfoss PowerNEU strengthens Danfoss’s long-term commitment to India by bringing energy-efficient and emissions-reduction solutions closer to customers. Located in one of India’s key steel hubs, the Jamshedpur facility will support steel and metals producers across Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and surrounding industrial regions.

Designed as a long-term platform, the joint venture will help expand decarbonization solutions for India’s metals and heavy industry sector. The facility will enable faster on-site support, round-the-clock connectivity, and quicker project execution. Solutions will be developed based on real plant conditions, helping customers cut energy use, improve performance, and reduce environmental impact.
