A milestone has been achieved by Ammann India, when it produced its own first ABG 5420 tracked paver (Tier 3) at its plant in Ditasan in Gujarat. The business of ABG paver is merged with the operations of Ammann India led by Bernd Holz, Executive Vice President - ABG General Management, and Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director, Ammann India.
The Tier 3 compliant paver also serves both the domestic and exports markets including Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. It satisfies the growing batteries of fuel-efficient, low emission and technologically advanced road construction equipment due to the key infrastructure initiatives such as Bharatmala, PM Gati Shakti, and the Smart Cities Mission. Considering that the Ditasan plant will be a vital production and export point, it will support a wide range of clientele.
Also in conjunction with the launch of the paver, Ammann India opened an exclusive ABG warehouse in the same location. The warehouse of more than 10,000 square feet and an extra 2,000+ square feet material staging area includes state-of-the-art handling systems permitting a weight of up to 1,200 kg per shelf, as well as an eight-level racking system storing approximately 1,800 SKUs.
