Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd has won a huge contract of ₹35.68 crore (including GST) by the Ministry of Defence to supply Portable Counter-, Drone Systems (PCDS).
The project is expected to be completed in May 2026. It enhances the local Indian counter UAVs, responding to the increased demand of advanced drone defence technology.
Under a similar advancement, the subsidiary of Paras called Paras Anti-Drone Technologies Pvt Ltd was awarded a 3.95 crore contract by the MoD on Radio Frequency (RF) Jammers.
The latter systems are a combination of detection and jamming, which further emboldens the government in the homegrown defence technology by the company.

Commenting on the achievement, Ashutosh Baheti, CEO of Paras Anti-Drone Technologies Pvt Ltd, said, “We are honoured by the Ministry of Defence’s ongoing confidence in our technologies. Securing multiple MoD contracts in quick succession highlights our commitment to developing reliable, made-in-India counter-drone solutions that enhance national defence preparedness. The sophisticated counter-drone technology developed by Paras Defence has the ability to identify, classify, track, and neutralize unmanned aerial threats in real time. These victories have made Paras Defence and its subsidiary to become one of the major players in the Indian electronic warfare and counter-UAV ecosystem, to contribute to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat by the country to be self-reliant in defence.
