NIBE and Elbit Partner to Manufacture Advanced Rocket Launcher

In order to manufacture and supply the Universal Rocket Launcher (SURYA), a highly advanced defense system that can engage targets with precision over a range of up to 300 km, private defense manufacturing company NIBE Limited signed a Technology Collaboration Agreement with Israeli defense company Elbit Systems for Advanced Universal Rocket Launcher manufacturing. This technology transfer will be the first time that such a sophisticated system is produced in India, opening the door for both domestic and international markets, according to ANI.

"The Universal Rocket Launcher is set to revolutionise modern warfare with its remarkable capabilities and performance, positioning NIBE Limited as a key player in the global defense sector," the company said in a release.

A subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., Elbit Land Systems is a world leader in the planning, creation, and integration of cutting-edge land-based defensive systems. The firm is renowned for its ingenuity, dependability, and systems that have been proved on the battlefield.
