In an effort to close the skills gap in additive manufacturing and design, Aptech Limited and WOL3D have teamed up to launch India's first industry-ready 3D printing and product design program.
The program's main goal is to get students ready for careers in fields including product development, architecture, and healthcare. The program will be provided by Aptech's innovative training brands, MAAC and Arena Animation, with assistance from WOL3D's state-of-the-art lab facilities for hands-on training.
The 60-hour hybrid course offers a combination of theory and real-world application through both online and experiential learning. Students will acquire knowledge of end-to-end product design workflows, printing technologies, and 3D modeling.

Sandip Weling, Creative Vertical Head at Aptech, claims that the course is created to satisfy the growing need for workers with expertise in next-generation manufacturing. Rahul Chandalia, co-founder of WOL3D, stated that the partnership seeks to inspire young innovators and artists by empowering them to turn concepts into real goods.
The program supports India's shift to technology-driven and sustainable production models and is in line with the country's rising emphasis on "Make in India" and "Mission Manufacturing." The curriculum seeks to develop a workforce prepared for the era of digital manufacturing by incorporating 3D printing instruction into regular coursework.
