More than 100 drones have been sent by Chennai-based Garuda Aerospace, a top drone manufacturer, to help the Andhra Pradesh Drones Corporation with relief efforts in the wake of Cyclone Montha.
Aerial evaluations, surveillance, and the delivery of medications and other necessities to cyclone-affected areas throughout the state are all made possible by the company's logistics and delivery drones.
These cutting-edge drones are being utilized for flood monitoring, real-time aerial mapping, and locating obstructions to facilitate speedier rescue and relief efforts.

The drones, which are outfitted with payload delivery systems, are delivering relief supplies, medical kits, and emergency equipment to remote locations that are still unreachable because of infrastructural damage and waterlogging.
Garuda's delivery drones can handle up to 25 kg of payloads, guaranteeing quick delivery of assistance supplies, and its logistics drones use AI and machine learning to increase operating efficiency. One of the most badly impacted areas is Amalapuram, where the fleet is currently stationed.
Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, said “Garuda Aerospace has always been among the first to respond during emergencies.
It’s heartening to see our technology directly helping communities during disasters like Cyclone Montha. Our quick deployment in Andhra Pradesh is ensuring rapid relief, better situational awareness, and timely aid delivery to that in need. We remain committed to supporting the nation in every crisis.”
