In one of the biggest moves to the electronics and white goods manufacturing environment in India, Amber Enterprises has decided to invest 6,000 crores to establish a massive unit in and around the NTSA International Airport in Jewar. The development is a milestone towards the state of Uttar Pradesh achieving its goal of becoming a high-tech manufacturing center.
The investment is a testimony of how domestic manufacturers are increasingly getting convinced of the industrial infrastructure and policy support in Uttar Pradesh. Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has provided a Letter of Intent (LoI) on 100 acres of land in Sector 8, Noida, which is a highly strategic place close to the Jewar airport and with good connectivity through expressways.
The facility is going to serve PCB assembly, consumer electronics, and home appliance manufacturing industries, which are major segments that contribute to the advancement of the electronics industry in India. As the central government is driving the replacement of imports and self-reliance as part of the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives, the step taken by Amber Enterprises fits into the national interest.

“This ₹6,000 crore investment will open new avenues of growth and prosperity in the state,” said Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta, emphasizing the project’s transformative potential.
He added, “This (latest investment) will not only accelerate the state's overall development but also create new employment opportunities for the youth.”
The growth of Amber Enterprises around the Jewar airport will bring in ancillary units, enhance logistic, and further make the region part of the electronics supply chain, which is rapidly developing in India.
