TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad celebrated a major milestone today as their joint production surpassed 200,000 units, underscoring their decade‑long partnership.
The partnership that has made the company redefine the sub-500 motorcycle segment continues to receive global interest, and models are produced at the Hosur facility of TVS and are shipped to over 100 markets.
This milestone coincides with the other important milestone in the form of the start of production of the new BMW F450GS in India.
The motorcycle that was initially revealed at EICMA 2025 is now going into full scale production at Hosur, making India the center of production of this next-generation adventure bike in the world. It also establishes the role of TVS Motor Company in the BMW development strategy in emerging and developed markets.
