NDR Auto to Set up New Safety Component Units with Partners

At its meeting on November 6, 2025, the board of NDR Auto Components approved the establishment of a project to manufacture a seat belt reminder system at the company's current Gujarat manufacturing facility in technical collaboration with Fujikura for an approximate investment of Rs. 7.43 crore.

Additionally, the board approved entering into a Technical Assistance Agreement with Fujikura for the aforementioned purpose.

Moreover, the board approved the establishment of a project to manufacture seating latches at the company's current manufacturing facility in Pathredi, Gurugram, in technical collaboration with Fisher Dynamics Corporation for an approximate investment of Rs. 17.43 crore.

Additionally, the board approved entering into a Technology License Agreement with Fisher Dynamics Corporation for the aforementioned purpose.

By subscribing to NDR Auto Components Safety Systems' Rights Issues offer, the board authorized an investment of Rs. 3 crore in the equity shares of the company's wholly owned subsidiary.

The Rohit Relan Group, which includes NDR Auto Components Limited (NACL), was founded in the 1930s by the late Shri N.D. Relan, a stockbroker in the financial services industry.

Under the names Bharat Seats Limited and Sharda Motor Industries Limited (SMIL), the business established itself as a leading manufacturer of car components after diversifying into a whole new industry in the 1980s: automobile manufacturing.

While SMIL started out with a sizable stitching unit that supplied seat trims and later supplied metal structures and frames to Bharat Seats Limited, Bharat Seats was a fully integrated plant that produced complete seating systems under one roof for the four-wheeler, two-wheeler, and surface transport segments.
