Garuda Construction and Engineering has announced a major milestone with a new EPC contract worth ₹1,416 crore from Sumer Corporation for its upcoming luxury residential project, Powai Heights, in Mumbai.
The prestigious project will comprise three premium residential towers in Chandivali, Taluka Ghatkopar, which will be completed in 60 months. With this addition, the total order book of Garuda Construction and Engineering has reached approximately ₹4,876.78 crore, bolstering its position in India's rapidly growing construction sector.
The company is known for providing turnkey EPC solutions and has built a strong reputation across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects. This contract further underlines its growing presence in the luxury real estate segment of Mumbai, one of the country’s most competitive markets.

The company continues to exhibit strong financial momentum. It reported a 2.7x jump in consolidated net profit at ₹27.12 crore in Q2 FY26, aided by a 2.5 times rise in revenue from operations at ₹116.49 crore, over the corresponding quarter of last year.
Shares of Garuda Construction and Engineering surged 5.29% to close at ₹225 on the BSE after the announcement, a reflection of investor confidence in the company's expanding portfolio and growth trajectory. With Powai Heights in the pipeline, Garuda stands ready to further bolster its leadership as the supplier of world-class engineering and construction excellence.
