Dilip Buildcon Ltd. Has made an announcement that its joint venture, DBL-APMPL (with a 74:26 shareholding between Dilip Buildcon and APMPL, respectively), has got the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit (MPJNM) for a large solar power project.
The LoA refers to the development of a 100 MW grid-connected, ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant under the captive mode. The power will be generated at the plant during the next 25 years after the commissioning and will be supplied exclusively to MPJNM. The location will be Ramnagar and Dhanwada villages in Suwasra tehsil of Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh.
In accordance with the provisions of the contract, the power will be sold at a predetermined rate of Rs 2.09 per unit by using non-Domestic Content Requirement (non-DCR) solar panels. Under the consignment model setup, MPJNM is going to invest Rs 31.20 crore in equity or other instruments that are equivalent in terms of the value to take a 26% stake in the project, which is the last mentioned norm of the regulation.

The land in reference is approximately 315 acres and is supposed to be handed over to the project by MPJNM. It is hoped that the building phase will be over within 24 months, and thereafter, MPJNM will be receiving the power for the next 25 years.
