Diamond Power Infrastructure has landed a Rs 276.06-crore order from Adani Energy Solutions, setting the stage for one of the year’s more significant supply deals in India’s transmission sector.
The contract covers 7,668 km of AL-59 Zebra conductor for the large-scale Khavda transmission project, a key link in India’s fast-growing renewable energy corridors.
The company said the purchase order comes from a domestic entity and will be supplied on a kilometre-rate basis under a price variation formula.
The work is expected to be fully completed by 23 November 2026, aligning with the project’s phased expansion schedule. Diamond Power Infrastructure also clarified that none of its promoters or group companies have any stake in the awarding entity, confirming that the order is not a related-party transaction.

For Diamond Power Infrastructure, the mandate strengthens its project pipeline in the power transmission space at a time when India is accelerating investments in grid expansion. The company, which manufactures a wide range of transmission and distribution products, recently reported a sharp jump in performance. Its consolidated net profit surged 593.3% to Rs 27.73 crore, supported by a 75.1% rise in net sales to Rs 438.33 crore in Q2 FY26 compared with the same period last year.
Adani Energy Solutions, the awarding company, remains a major player across transmission, distribution, smart metering, and cooling solutions. In Q2 FY26, AESL posted a 20.9% dip in net profit to Rs 533.97 crore, while revenue from operations edged up 6.7% to Rs 6,595.83 crore. The new supply order reinforces its ongoing build-out of high-capacity infrastructure in key renewable hubs.
