Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna public sector company under the Defence Ministry, said it has received new orders worth Rs 569 crore since its last announcement on December 12, 2025.
These orders add to the company's already healthy backlog and show how important it is to India's defence electronics industry.
According to a stock exchange filing, the latest deals cover a wide range of defence products and services, like modern radars, tank upgrades, communication devices, fire control systems, simulators, antenna stabilizers, security software, important parts, upgrades, and spares.
The orders also include related services, proving BEL can offer full solutions for India’s military. BEL, based in Bengaluru, is a major provider of advanced electronic systems and solutions to the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

It is skilled in many defence technologies, such as surveillance, command and control, and tactical communication systems. The company's focus on local design, production, and system integration has been key to India's defence readiness.
As of September 2025, the Indian government owns 51.14% of BEL, highlighting its strategic value to national security. The company’s consistent success in winning big contracts shows it can provide advanced and dependable solutions, boosting India’s independence in defence electronics.
With these new orders, BEL is set to strengthen its place as a top defence electronics maker while greatly helping to modernize and prepare India’s military forces.
