With this expansion, Ramkrishna Forgings further cements its place among India’s leading forging manufacturers. The facility will produce critical parts like axle components, crankshafts, connecting rods, and other high‑load structural components that require exceptional strength and metallurgical integrity.
A company spokesperson called the commissioning a “key milestone” in RKFL’s long‑term growth strategy. They added that this investment reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding domestic manufacturing while serving the needs of global customers and supporting India’s booming automotive and industrial sectors.
The new press line also aligns with the company’s focus on operational excellence and sustainability. Integrated process control systems will help reduce material waste, optimize energy use, and enhance overall production efficiency. These improvements are set to raise product quality while keeping RKFL competitive in global markets.
The commissioning comes at a time when demand for forged components is rising across commercial vehicles, railways, infrastructure, and off‑highway equipment. By boosting forging capacity and technology, Ramkrishna Forgings aims to better serve both domestic and international OEMs.
Located in Jharkhand, the expanded plant benefits from a strong industrial ecosystem and skilled workforce. The project is also expected to create local jobs and contribute to regional industrial growth, reinforcing the state as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
