With the inauguration of the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) and an advanced manufacturing facility in Pune, India, Eaton has extended its supply chain as well as production capabilities all over the world.
The event, consisting of the inaugurations, was held by Rogerio Branco, Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer; Sreekumar Panicker, Vice President and Head of GSC CoE India; and Pradeep Kumar SK, Country Head and Managing Director, India, Eaton, accompanied by other senior executives.
The GSC CoE acts as a curiosity-driven and collaborative innovation hub to stimulate higher efficiency of operations, digital transformation, and effortless interchange of knowledge between the global teams of Eaton.
Sreekumar Panicker said, “The new building is very significant to Eaton’s development in India, not only with respect to the operational excellence but also in the way of using the talents of global standards to improve agility and give lasting value to our operations.”

By adopting cutting-edge technology, the center can make the process of raw materials, transportation, and the entire SCM chain efficient, which will, in turn, relieve manufacturing plants and supply chain teams worldwide, lower the cost of the company, make sourcing more effective, and consolidate suppliers.
The Pune Innovation Center is close to being one of the four largest engineering hubs that the company has across the globe and is responsible for the technology and product development. Eaton is a globally active company with operations in over 160 countries and revenues close to $25 billion in 2024, and the company is constantly getting better in terms of sustainability, operational excellence, and leading the global transition toward electrified solutions.
