Larsen & Toubro (L&T) declared that the Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical of the company has 'major' orders from the domestic market, thus, establishing the company's leadership in the sizeable infrastructure and office space projects.
The work is described as a “major" order with a value of between Rs 5,000 crores and Rs 10,000 crores that will be carried out on a lump-sum turnkey basis and will be delivered in two stages. No details of the client were disclosed by the company.
The filing mentioned that the L&T’s order winning capacity for complicated large-scale projects within the very tough timelines is what this project is a testament to and they do this by always keeping the high-quality standards.
And not stopping there, besides the Bengaluru IT park, L&T’s B&F vertical has been given an order for a mixed-use development project in Mumbai which has a deadline of 45 months for its completion. Consequently, this project will add to the company’s portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use infrastructure projects.
